Cruise the Falls PT events raised and donated $80,623 to Children's charities
CTF5 (2005) Summary: 500 PTs met for the LAST TIME in June 2005, and through raffles, apparel sales, and gate-fees, we are EXTREMELY proud to announce that $22,234.38 was raised. This is approx. $44 PER PT that attended!!! $20,000 went to the Make-A-Wish foundation in Toronto, and the remaining went to the Red Cross's Gulf Coast Relief fund. This brings the 5 year total to over $80,623- an amount UNMATCHED by any PT event anywhere. The attendees and staff over the past 5 years have been outstanding- we thank you all.

After 5 years of gathering PTs together for this weekend in June, we saw that more and more original owners of Cruisers have been selling them off for other vehicles, we saw that the PT craze was dying off somewhat, we noticed the attendance figures of other events dropping, plus we were informed that the show lot in Niagara Falls was to be developed into an amusement park, add to that, Chrylser Canada decided not to support the event in 2005, combined with the lack of support from the local businesses and the cost of staying in the Falls area, we have decided that Cruise the Falls 5 was the LAST CTF event. We would like to thank ALL the attendees and sponsors over the years, especially Race and Street, for their support. There will never be another event series like this- CTF gathered PTs from all over North America and the WORLD, and raised more money for various charities than most other PT events COMBINED. We are VERY PROUD that we accomplished this committee free and WITHOUT any "National Club" interference- see, it CAN be done and it WAS done having the LARGEST and MOST CHARITABLE PT CRUISER EVENTS ON THE PLANET!!
